Skills Nevada State Conference 2017
Reed brought 33 students to the 2017 Nevada Skills State Conference who competed in 11 different contests. We are proud of these students for putting forth their best efforts. Seven medals were earned!

Donte will travel to Louisville, Kentucky as Nevada Champion to compete in the National Skills USA Competition!
Skills Nevada Leadership Conference Fall 2016
Twelve members of Reed High School Skills attended the Fall 2016 Leadership Conference in Las Vegas. Members participated in workshops, learned about competitions, and enjoyed social activities. The trip allowed members to bring new ideas and motivation back to Reed!

Skills National Conference - June 2016
We brought Nathaniel Leslie and Shemar Wiggins back to compete and they had a great time. They got to see Churchill Downs, the Louisville Slugger Factory and the Muhammad Ali Museum among other things. They also competed and did amazing. Shemar placed 12th in the nation for sheet metal work and Nathaniel placed 6th in the nation for Welding. This placement now makes Nathaniel eligible to compete in the World trials this year. He will face the top fifty competitors from this year and last and the top 5 move on to World Skills in Abu Dhabi.
